Piazza Municipio

Piazza Municipio (The Municipality Square) is a real point on the map, a central place in the colorful Giardini-Naxos, in the heart of Southern Italy, in Sicily, where I currently live.

Beneath the small, cozy, and narrow streets, formed by colorful doors, blooming balconies, and carved windows, there is a spirit of magic floating around, flickering here and there. You just need to look closely.

The original work is created with watercolor and calligraphic pens on watercolor paper (Arches, 300 g/m²).

I also create handmade prints on the same original watercolor paper, so that each one preserves the color, feeling, and texture of watercolor painting.

I offer prints in 4 variants:

1. A6 postcard. There is space on the other side for your wishes. However, it is better to send it in envelopes or give it by hand, as my watercolor prints behave just like paintings: the watercolor paint can come alive again and run if exposed to water.
2. A5, which looks beautiful as a watercolor miniature (for example, in a photo frame on the table).
3. A4, which fits perfectly into Ikea frames with a passe-partout (for example, RIBBA, 30x40 cm). This print looks exactly like the original watercolor artwork.
4. A3 format. It also fits Ikea frames (RIBBA, 40x50 cm). Prints in this size can be a decoration for large modern interiors.

Each print and original has small white margins from the edge of the paper to look better inside passepartout and frames.

Please note that the frames in the photos are for illustration purposes only and are not included. Also, please be aware that the color of the photos and the physical artwork may slightly differ, as it depends on the monitor's color reproduction and lighting.

All my watercolor prints behave just like watercolor paintings: the paints may run when exposed to water and fade in the sunlight. Therefore, please handle with care. It's also advisable to use a frame with transparent plastic or glass on top for protection from sunlight or splashes. It's better to send postcards and prints by mail in envelopes or give them by hand.
